Davao

Davao Region is situated at the southeastern portion of Mindanao with Davao City serving as its capital. Davao is home to Mount Apo, the highest mountain in the Philippines and a favourite climbing destination. Being rich in fertile soil and having good weather all year round, it is one of the world’s leading producers and exporters of fruits like Mangosteen, Durian, Pomelo, Banana, Mango and many more. Two kilometres off the coast of the city of Davao is the pristine Samal Island. This beautiful island is endowed with white sand beaches and sparkling azure waters.

How to get there

Davao is served by the Davao International Airport, which receives both domestic and international flights. Philippine Airlines, Air Asia, Cebu Pacific Air and Silk Air are connected to international destinations like Hongkong, Singapore, Indonesia, and Taiwan.  Domestically, you can fly in from Manila (2 hours), Cebu (1.10 hours) or Clark (1.50 hours).
